SEAVIEW COTTAGE
TERMS & CONDITIONS
THE CONTRACT. The contract for a short-term holiday rental will be between Seaview Cottage owners (referred to as, us or we) and the person making the booking and all members of the holiday party (referred to as, you or your) in the following booking conditions. UK law will govern the contract. The contract of hire is not effective until we have received a deposit payment via bank transfer. The contract will be subject to these terms & conditions and must be complied with. The party leader must be 18 years of age at the time of booking and the booking form must list all names and ages of your party. The named booker is responsible for all payments including the security deposit & must ensure that accompanying guests abide by these Terms & Conditions.
PAYMENT. A 50% deposit is required to secure
CANCELLATION POLICY
Seaview Cottage has a free cancellation policy, which is up to 2pm 10 weeks prior to arrival. All cancellations after which, or non-arrival, will be charged the booking in full. Please note, all discounted rates are not changeable and non-refundable.
COVID CANCELLATION POLICY
The Pembrokeshire Holiday Company has a specific Covid 19 cancellation policy. If you are unable to travel due to government restrictions on travel you will be entitled to a full refund of the total amount paid to date or the option to move your booking to a different date of your choice.
ILLNESS No guest may remain in Seaview Cottage if they are suffering from a contagious disease/virus. No stay can be extended to any guest suffering any illness. Any guest with a suspected illness should seek medical help at home. No guest may quarantine at Seaview Cottage and reimbursement will not be made for dates not taken. All guests have a duty of care to advise us when an illness occurs. Any accompanying guests must also vacate the cottage at the same time.
PERIOD OF HIRE. You should arrive after 4pm on the commencement date, check out is at 10am at the latest on the departure date. Check out later than 10am will be charged a further days rental.
You must not use the property except for the purpose of a holiday during the holiday period, and not for any other purpose or longer period. The agreement to stay in the property for the holiday period, does not create the relationship of Landlord and Tenant between the parties.
NUMBER OF PERSONS USING THE PROPERTY: Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated (10 + 2 cot sleeping infants + up to 3 dogs) occupy the property at any time during the day or night. We reserve the right to refuse admittance or terminate your holiday without reimbursement if this condition is not observed. We permit only the lead booker and members of the stated party at the time of booking to occupy the property and/or grounds for license/insurance restrictions. We do not permit the use of campervans/tents or any other type of additional accommodation. We do not permit additional non-resident persons/visitors to visit or occupy Seaview Cottage at any time.
LIABILITY. Seaview Cottage, its employees and its representatives, shall not be liable to you or your party for loss or damage to any personal property howsoever arising. You must take all necessary steps to protect and safeguard your personal property.
CARE OF THE PROPERTY You are responsible for the property and are expected to take all reasonable care of its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects, in or on the property. You must leave them in the same state of repair, and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. You must not use the property for any dangerous, offensive, noxious, noisy, immoral activities or carry on there any act that may be a nuisance or annoyance to the owner or other neighbouring properties. Smoking is not allowed. Fireworks, chinese lanterns, dye (including hair dye) and felt pens must not be used in the cottage/grounds. The use of Drones or Metal Detectors are not allowed without our express written permission.
PETS No pets other than dogs are permitted. We do not accept puppies under six months unless they are crated. Dogs are not permitted upstairs or in the bedrooms and you must protect soft furnishings with throws/covers. Dogs must be fully house trained. Your dog must not be allowed to interfere with neighbouring farm stock or cause distress to our neighbours. Your dog must not be left unattended within the cottage without prior permission from the owners. If left your dog must be contained within a crate and not left to roam the cottage. All dog poos must be removed from the grounds.
WIFI. Wi-Fi is provided for the guest’s reasonable use. The guest agrees to reasonable and lawful usage of this service.
RIGHT OF ENTRY We shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
COMPLAINTS Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. However, if you have any problem or cause for complaint, it is essential that you advise us immediately to give us the chance to resolve it. We value your custom and would like you to return.
LAW Any disputes you may have with us are dealt with by the Courts of England & Wales only.
Hot Tub Terms & Conditions
We strictly follow Hot Tub Health & Safety Guidelines. There may be occasions when the Hot Tub is temporarily unavailable due to cleaning and re-heating. This does not merit a refund of any monies and is separate to the cottage rental.
We monitor the disinfectant and PH levels in the hot tub daily. If we need to empty/service or repair the hot tub because of misuse then we will charge £100 to your security deposit. This takes 24 hrs during which time the hot tub will not be accessible. Whilst we do our utmost to ensure the hot tub is available for your arrival there may be a chance that further time is needed for heating.
The Hot Tub will need to be refilled if any of the following are introduced; Urine. Fecal Matter. Glass. Beach Sand. Mud. Stones. Sticks & Cigarette Butts.
Lift & replace the hot tub lid using the lifting bar only, do not place the lid on the ground.
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the hot tub. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do Not allow children to spend more than 20 mins at a time in the tub
No toys, goggles, snorkels or inflatables are to be used in the hot tub.
Do Not leave children unattended near the hot tub.
Do Not use the hot tub straight from the beach or wear swimwear previously used at the beach.
Ensure that all sand, oils, creams & make up are showered off/removed before entering the hot tub.
Ensure that stones, grass & mud are removed from feet before entering the hot tub.
No drinking, eating or smoking in the hot tub.
Do Not use any soaps or bubble bath in the hot tub.
Do Not sit, stand or lie on the lid of the hot tub at any time.
Do Not adjust the settings. The only buttons you need to use are Jets & Lights.
If you try to adjust the settings the hot tub will time out/turn off.
HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES
During pregnancy soaking in the Hot Tub may cause damage to your baby so contact your doctor for advice before entering the water.
Persons with heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure, or any serious illness should not enter the Hot Tub without prior consultation with their doctor.
People with skin, ear, genital or other body infections, open sores, or wounds should not use the Hot Tub because of the possibility of spreading infection.
Do Not submerge your head in the hot tub for safety & health reasons.
The heat of the water speeds up the effects of alcohol and can cause sleepiness, dizziness and unconsciousness. Do not use the Hot Tub after drinking alcohol. Avoid entering the water immediately after exercising as the water temperature can affect the heart rate.
Never use the Hot Tub while using or after using narcotics or other drugs.
Limit your time in the Hot Tub to a maximum of 20 minutes as extending this time can affect your inner organs and cause fever like conditions. Never use the Hot Tub alone. Avoid using the Hot Tub immediately after a heavy meal.
Take care when entering and leaving the Hot Tub. Leg muscles may be relaxed enough to make you unsteady. Steps by the Hot Tub can be slippery when wet.
You use this hot tub at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for your safety whilst you are using the hot tub
